RESOURCES
On my youtube channel I talk more in depth about these resources and how they helped me recover.
Please note that none of these practices are necessary for recovery. There is no quick fix and they won't do wonders.

See what resonates with you and experiment with the practices, try everything and keep what works.
But be aware of the tendency to obsess about gathering information or doing the practices with a over-achiever/perfectionistic mindset which is common amongst people dealing with this condition.

04. PRACTICES
In general, practices that put you into a parasympathetic state.
Polyvagal practices can be very helpfull. I will list a few that helped me.
1. Mediation and mindfullness. (Waking up app, LifewithKyle guided meditations, Simply always awake)

2. Inner work
3. Breathing excercises. For example:
-Deep breathing,
-4-7-8- Breathing,
-Box breathing.
Generally, to calm down you want your exhale to be longer than your inhale.

4. Journaling (look at Nichole Sachs for journalling exercises)

5. Yoga/stretching

6. Singing, Dancing and Humming (activates the vagus nerve)

7. Laughing/ Laughing yoga

8. TRE (trauma release excercises, by David Berceli)
